OUR HISTORY
On February 23, 1987, the Maplebrook Soccer Association filed its articles of incorporation with the state of Minnesota as a not-for-profit, community led soccer club.
Over the years, the members of the Maplebrook Soccer Association (also known as Maplebrook Soccer Club) have worked together with the city of Maple Grove to continue to raise the bar of excellence for soccer in our community. Along with the Osseo/Maple grove Athletic Association, Maplebrook were major stakeholders in bringing a Sports Dome to Maple Grove in 2011.
Then again in 2019, the Maplebrook Soccer Board of Directors and its Director of Coaching (Jean-Yves Viardin) — along with the leadership efforts of Mayor Steffenson — worked in cooperation with the city and other youth sports program to bring the state of the art sports facility known as the Fernbrook Athletic Fields.
While our greatest accomplishments are the way we continue to bring value to our community through soccer, we are also proud of the hard work of our staff, coaches and trainers. Their commitment has allowed our players to experience consistent success throughout the years.
