FUEGO PLUS

Is your U7 or U8 player looking for a soccer experience that helps bridge the gap between our recreational soccer program and our competitive soccer program? Fuego Plus is Maplebrook’s newest competitive program for U7 and U8 players who are ready for an environment that is primarily focused on skill development. Players who participate in our Fuego Plus program will play in a competitive league against other clubs in the metro area and will have a team coach. (See below for coaches information)

Program Details

  • $350 Registration Fee

  • $35/ Uniform Kit Fee

  • No other additional fees than the one above

Commitment:

  • 2-3 events/week ( combination of games, practices, or tournament)

  • Mid-April - July 1

    • Boys: Mondays and Wednesdays

    • Girls: Tuesdays and Thursdays

  • One tournament (Annual Maplebrook Tournament)

MEET OUr FUEGO PLUS COACHING STAFF

Bashiru Kormah (aka “BK)

BK played soccer at Augsburg for all 4 years, and before that he played locally at Osseo High School. In addition to his playing background, he has coached at Maplebrook for about 4 years, he has experience reffing, and he spent close to a year teaching reading literacy in the Peace Corp in Liberia. So, he has a variety of experiences to bring to the table!

Jeremy Kramer

Jeremy has played soccer since he was in kindergarten. Soccer and teaching youth are his passion. Jeremy played high school soccer at Cloquet High School where he was a three-time all-area player. His senior year was voted Duluth News Tribune player of the year. He went on to play at St. John's college as a center midfield until later transferring to play club soccer at UMD. When not playing, he was refereeing or coaching the U19 Cloquet team. He has three kids that play at Maplebrook ages 8, 6, and 3. He's been coaching both U6 and U8 since 2020 and looking forward to helping children grow in their skills like leadership, confidence, teamwork, and of course in the game of soccer!
